Rev. Mozell Moore, Jr. was born to the late Mr. Mozell and Mrs. Mabel Moore .  He joined Provewell Baptist Church in Marion, Alabama at a early age. He has preached for 30 plus years He pastored Jerusalem Baptist Church, Selma, Alabama for one year.
Rev. Mozell  Moore, Jr. was preceded in death by his    parents, Mr. Mozell Moore, Sr and Mrs. Mabel Lee Rutledge Moore and his very special friend, Mr. John Sanders; one son , Mozell  Moore III, two brothers,  Walter Moore and Johnnie C. Moore; wife, Margaret Moore.
Rev Mozell  Moore, Jr.  leaves to cherish his memories:  his wife, Marilyn Moore; two sons,  Alexander (Victoria) Bates, John Wayne Moore all of Marion, Alabama; one daughter, Lee Ann Moore, Selma, Alabama; seventeen grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; four brothers, Jerry Moore, Jim C. Moore, Richard (Barbara) Moore all of Marion, Alabama and        Roosevelt Moore, of Phoenix, Arizona; nine sisters, Geraldine Moore, Mary Stein Scott, Dorothy (Willie Earl) Sawyer,     Mabell Moore Smith, Mary (Willie) Bennett, Lucy (Timothy) Moore, Sandra ( Jimmy) Curry all of Marion, Alabama; Mabel Lee Moore Rockett, of Phoenix, Arizona and Patricia Bailey of Brent, Alabama; four uncles, Hosea (Barbara) Rutledge, Bobby Tate, Henry (Carol) Harris all of Marion, Alabama and Eddie Rutledge of Brent, Alabama ; one aunt, Alicia Deyampert of Marion, Alabama and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends
