Sandra Brooks Curry was born to the late Willie Mae Harris and the late Mozelle Moore, Sr.  She confessed Christ at an early age and joined Antioch Baptist Church in Brent, AL and later joined Simpson Chapel Church in Marion, AL. 

Sandra was preceded  in death by her sister, Susie Moore, granddaughter, Sammyia Brooks, three   brothers, Walter, Mozell, Jr. and Johnny Moore.

Sandra leaves her loving memories to her husband; Jimmy Roger Curry, Jr.; one daughter, Latasha Brooks; three sons, Daniel, Alfred and Samuel Brooks all of Marion, AL; sisters, Jannie Brooks, Evette Harris, Latonya Harris of Marion, AL, Crystal (Courtney) Williams of Brent, AL;  Mary (Willie)   Bennett, Lucy (Tim) Moore, Dorothy ( Earl) Sawyer, Mary Stein Sawyer, Geraldine Moore, Mae Bell  Moore all  of Marion, AL; Mable Rockett of Phoenix, Arizona; brothers,Jethro Avery, Dewayne Avery, Stacey  Harris, Sedgwick Harris, Jimmy Moore, Jerry Moore, Richard ( Barbara) Moore all of Marion, AL;   Roosevelt Moore of Phoenix, Arizona; a loving   mother –in-law Mrs. Evelyn Curry; two special daughters, Nakyra Brooks of Tallahassee, AL and Darreasia Young of Tuscaloosa, AL; one special son, Devonte’ Harris of  Slidell, LA; three special nieces, Sharonda  Brooks and Larhonda  (Ken) Moore of Marion, AL; Antoinette Washington of Birmingham, AL; Eight grandchildren and a host of nieces,     nephews other relatives and friends.
