Mrs. Viola “Coot “Holifield was born in Perry County, Alabama to Mr. Hayward and Vivian Whitsett on May  15, 1919.

She confessed Christ at an early age and joined Oak Grove Baptist Church.  She later married Mr. Stanley Holifield and she joined the New Fellowship Baptist Church where she served faithful until her death.

To this union one son was born, Stanley Holifield, Jr. who  preceded her in death.

She leaves to mourn: her husband , Stanley Holifield;  one daughter, Mrs. Mary Robinson; one grandson, Craig Robinson  both of Jamaica, New York and a host of nieces, nephews , other relatives and friends.
