Brenda Tubbs Obituary

Sister Brenda Sanders Tubbs was born to the late Olan Sanders Sr. and Willie Anna Sanders on October 10, 1963 in Marion, AL. She  departed her life on September 13, 2019, at DCH Hospital inTuscaloosa, AL.

 

Preceded her in death (husband) Joe C. Tubbs, (son) Jeremy Tubbs, (father) Olan Sanders Sr., (sister) Nadine Sanders Goree, (brother)  Edward Leon Sanders, (grandmother) Lillie Mae Hardwick, and (grandchildren) Jeremiah and Josiah Sanders and Baby Tubbs.

 

Sister Brenda Sanders Tubbs accepted JESUS CHRIST as her personal savior at an early age and joined the Union Baptist Church in Marion, AL. She later moved forward and joined the Freewill Baptist Church where she served faithfully and praising the Lord until her death. During the early stage of her life, she served as a bus driver for Shelton State Community College and Perry County Board of  Education and along with being self-employed at ‘Sisters Deli’ until her health failed.

 

She leaves to cherish a wonderful, loving and devoted mother Willie A. Sanders, two devoted daughters, Christina Tubbs of Tuscaloosa, AL, Anita (Ken) Hollis of Newbern, AL, two loving sons, Joe (Carmen) Sanders and Myron Tubbs both of Newbern, AL; two   devoted brothers Rev. O.L. (Ethel) Sanders of Marion, AL, Olan (Henrietta) Sanders of Montgomery, AL, two great sisters Carla (Robert) Underwood of Marion, AL, Betty Mayhand of Selma, AL; A special niece Elizabeth (Freddie) Carlisle of Newbern, AL; 19  wonderful grandchildren, 21 nieces and nephews, and a host of great nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, church members, and other relatives and kins.
