Henry Marvin Sanders, Jr. was born June 8, 1957 in Marion, Alabama to Eva Lou Sanders and the late Henry Marvin Sanders, Sr.
He attended Spring Hill Baptist Church where he was baptized and accepted JESUS into his heart. He later attended Zion United Methodist Church.
He graduated from Frances Marion High School. He grew up in Marion where he was known as “Banky”. He later gave honor to his country by serving in the US Army.
He departed and joined GOD on Wednesday, October 16, 2019. He was a beloved husband, father, son, grandfather, brother and friend.
Two uncles preceded him in death, Willie Massey and John Massey.
He leaves to cherish his memories: his mother, Eva Lou Sanders of Marion, Alabama; wife, Stacie T. Sanders of Atlanta, Georgia; five children, Ashley (Eddie) Jones and Tiffany McKay of Atlanta, Georgia, Henry Marvin III, Tony (Yaishia) Sanders of Tuscaloosa, Alabama and Michael Burrell of New York, New York; two brothers, Joe Sanders and Freddie (Linda) Sanders of Marion, Alabama; three sisters, Pauline Burrell, Dametra Sanders of Marion, Alabama and Sudonna (Matthew) Reese of Prattville, Alabama; one half sister, Irene Billingsley (Nick), Miami, Florida; two brother –in– laws, Keith Tucker and Kenneth Tucker; two sister-in-laws, Vickie Coley and Tracie Cumming of Atlanta, Georgia,16 grandchildren; special friends,Charles Collins, Louis Hogue, Soney Jones and Floyd McGlothen, Jimmy Parker and the late Gerald McGhee, special brothers, Drake, Lorenzo and Keon Wright; special families, The Billingsley, McGree and The Lapsley, a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
