A Time To Be Born”
Mr. James Henry Griffin was born August 30, 1941 in Marion, Alabama. He attended Lincoln High School and was a member of Berean Baptist Church. James learned brick masonry from his father which he continued until his retirement. His exemplary work can still be seen throughout the state.
James was a humble and generous husband, father, grandfather and brother to many family and friends. He left a lasting impression on everyone he came in contact with.
“Loved Ones Gone On Before Him”
James was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Ora Jane Griffin and brother, Ralph Griffin.
“A Time To Weep and A Time To Rejoice”
We weep because we will miss James presence, and his enduring love. We rejoice because we know James is in God’s hands, where he has found eternal rest, as he answered the Father’s call on April 24, 2018 at the Lighthouse Nursing Home.
“A Time To Be Remembered”
Cherishing his everlasting memories, a loving wife Claudia; two sons and five daughters; one brother, Cecil Griffin of Tuscaloosa, Alabama; one sister, Marjorie (Willie) Graham of Miami, Florida; a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. He also leaves to cherish his memory a special childhood friend Willie “Sonny-Boy” Jones.
