Melinda Martin

Melinda Ann Martin was born June 18, 1978 in Selma, Alabama to the late Mr. William(Moot) Evans and  Sarah Ann Martin.

Melinda departed this life April 30, 2019 at UAB Hospital

Melinda confessed her life at Berean Baptist Church and later joined Morning Star Baptist Church.

Melinda was preceded in death by her parents Sarah Ann Martin, and William (Moot) Evans., her son Donneil Ford, Jr. and her beloved brother Quentin Martin; grandfather,Eddie  Lapsley, grandmother, Mary Martin, uncle, Lloyd Martin, Grand father Johnnie Evans, Grandmother, Maggie B. Evans.

Melinda leaves behind to cherish her memory: one daughter, Donnielle Ford; Father –in-law, Ferdinand Ford; Stepdaughter, Ke’rra Ford;  Fiancé, Donneil Ford, Sr.; brothers, Dennis (Kim) Martin, Ralpheal Martin, William (Dex) Evans, Chadrick Martin, Tellis Martin, Wesley Tubbs and Frankie Tubbs all of Marion, Alabama; sisters, Sheri Page of Gadsden, Alabama, Kim Hogue of Marion, Alabama, Angela  (Kevin) Carter of Greensboro, Alabama; Step mother, Punnie Evans of Marion, Alabama; special aunts, Willie Mae, Classie Scott, Sally Bell,  Edna Lapsley - Lowe, Aunt Vic, Viola Hinkle; Rebecca Rollins and Cathy Wright; special uncles; Rodney Lapsley, Rufus Evans, James Evans, Eric Evans, Bruce Evans, Carl Evans, Madison Evans, Donald Evans, Wedge Worth, Eddie Lapsley, special nieces and nephews, Chadrick Lekel Martin, Jr., Traqueal Harris, Tramane Harris (Mane Mane), Shytara Edwards, and Nyla Simmons, Chadrick LeKel Martin III; special cousins Androcka Martin, Loretta Martin, Jackie Scott, Anita Scott, and Cellise Rutledge and a host of other relatives and friends.
