Robert Earl Lee III, affectionately known as “Pig”, was born August 15, 1952, to Robert Herman and Sadie Mae Lee. He was reared by his grandparents, Robert Rean and Ludie Mae Lee. He came to know the Lord at an early age under the leadership of Reverend Ezell Stevens, Hopewell Missionary Baptist Church. He later moved his membership to Trinity Baptist Church under Reverend B. L. Tucker where he was ordained a deacon. A few years later, he moved his membership back to Providence Baptist Church under Reverend Clifford Coleman. He continued to serve there with Reverend Matthew Wilson until his demise.
He united in holy matrimony to Judy Harris; to this union, three children were born. He later united with Daisy Sims and bore one son.
Pig leaves to cherish his memories 8 children: Robert “Bobby Joe” Lee, Lexington KY; Stephanie (James) Reed, Atlanta, GA; Reginald (Punkyn) Lee, Marion, AL; Terrance (Taleisha) Tubbs, Birmingham, AL; Lekel Martin, Marion, AL; Trevoriss Moore, Marion, AL; Authur Johnson, Huntsville, AL; Xavier Deon Lee, Marion, AL and one stepson, Damien Sims, Huntsville, AL. One son, Adam “Wayne” Tubbs preceded him in death.
He also leaves to cherish his memories four sisters, Ludelia Howard, Hueytown, AL; Jeanie (Bob) Williams, Marion, AL; Evon (Charles) McMichael, Brooklyn, NY and Priscilla (Sammy) Williams, Uniontown AL; four brothers, Leonard (Paula) Hinton, Brooklyn, NY; Albert Lee, Marion, AL, Tommy Lee, Uniontown, AL and Robert “Teddy Ball” Lee, Uniontown, AL; two aunts, Mary Thomas, Brent, AL and Diane Green, Marion, AL; one uncle, William Lee, Montgomery, AL; two special friends, Llewyln Simpson and Anthony Moore; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends
