Albert Lee Obituary

Albert Junior Lee was born May 11, 1956 to Georgiana Lee and Lou Curtis Phillip, in Marion, AL. Albert confessed Christ at an early age and was a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church. At the age of 34, Albert married     Barbara Ann Scott. In 2005, they renewed their vows at Trinity Baptist Church (Marion, AL).

 

In 2018, after many dedicated years, Albert retired from Stella Jones, Inc. Albert dedicated the rest of his time to his wife, children, and beloved grandchildren, who called him “Paw Paw”. Albert was loved by many and known in the community as “Rev”, “Jim”, or “Big Jim”.

 

On Wednesday, December 23, 2020, COVID-19 claimed yet another one of God’s soldiers. After a long hard fight against COVID-19, the Lord called Albert home to his final resting place.

 

Albert was proceeded in death by his father, Lou Curtis Phillip; mother, Georgiana Lee; his brothers, Richard Lee, and Lee Phillip, and sister Daisy Phillip.

 

Albert leaves to cherish his memory, his devoted wife of 30 years, Barbara Lee; his son, David Griffin, Jr.; his daughters, Carmerletha Lee and       Ka’Terra Lee; his grandson, Jordan Lee; his granddaughter, Rayne Johnson; his beloved stepmother, Vella Mae; his sisters, Betty Jones, Shirley (Ricky) Martin, Barbara Lee, and Jeanette Huff; his brother, Carl Lee and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
