Alberta Hudson Carmichael was born July 6, 1947 in Uniontown, Alabama to the late Walter and Alberta Hudson. Sister Carmichael died Sunday, May 3, 2020 at Princeton Medical Center in Birmingham, Alabama.
She was preceded in death by her Husband Obie Carmichael, Sr; daughter, Sheila Carmichael Irby; two sisters, Josephine Hopkins, Lizzie Mae Blevins and one brother, Walter Hudson.
Alberta Carmichael dedicated her life to Jehovah God and symbolized her dedication by water baptism on July 8, 1972. She served as a faithful and loyal proclaimer of the good news of God’s Kingdom. Alberta was a wonderful and dedicated mother, grandmother and sister. She was well-loved and will be missed by many.
She leaves to cherish her memory, three sons, Obie (Charunzy) Carmichael, Jr, Terry (Diana) Carmichael of Selma, Alabama, Stanley Carmichael of Nashville, Tennessee; five daughters, Brenda Carmichael, Veronica Carmichael , Vanessa (Kendrick) McMillian and Candace Carmichael of Selma, Alabama, Lakeesha (Robert) Green of Madison, Wisconsin, four brothers, George Hudson of Selma, Alabama, James (Kathy) Hudson, Lithonia, Georgia, John Hudson and Peter Hudson of California; seven grandchildren, one great grandchild with a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
