Alfreda R. Phillips was born on June 2, 1958 to the late Monroe and Joan C. Price in Marion, Alabama she departed this on December 6, 2021.
Alfreda confessed to Christ as her personal Savior at Mt. Olive Baptist Church. After graduating from East Perry High School she attended Alabama State University in Montgomery, Alabama where she earn her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. After graduating college she worked at FoodWay Grocery Store in Marion, Alabama until she got hired at Neiman/TekPak in Marion, Alabama where she worked until her retirement in 2015. After her retirement she enjoyed spending time with her grandkids who she loved as her own.
Alfreda is preceded in death by her parents Monroe and Joan C. Price; one sister Josephine P. Heard and one brother Roy D. Phillips.
Alfreda leaves to cherish her memories: her daughters Felicia Johanna Phillips and Alesia Diane Phillips both of Marion, Alabama ; five grandchildren, Teanderia Ka’Shay Phillips, Devaron Leon McLaughlin, Joan Alise Phillips, Justin Xavier Phillips and Gabriella Chrishelle Phillips all of Marion, Alabama; one brother Herbert A. Reed of Gulfport, Mississippi; three nephews, Kenneth (Claudia) Heard and Quinton Heard of Sprott, Alabama, Oliver Heard of Tuscaloosa, Alabama; three nieces, Kalissa (Derrick) Shaw Sr., Olivia Heard of Alabaster, Alabama, Tracey Jones of Moody, Alabama; second mama, Mrs. Rosie Kynardspecial friends Ella Smith and Pauline Parker of Marion, Alabama; Margaret Dickerson of Marion Junction, Alabama; special friend since college, Vanzetta Clisby of Ellenwood, Georgia; and a host of great nieces, great nephews, other relatives and friends.
