Alice Tinker was born on June 11, 1942 in Sawyerville, Alabama to the late Mr. Allen and Mrs. Lovenia Tinker. She was a strong woman of faith.
Alice accepted Christ at an early age at Mt. Zion Baptist Church where she served faithfully until her health started to decline.
A lice gained her wings on Sunday, January 24, 2021, the Lord saw fit to call his servant home. She will be missed from this world, but will live forever in our hearts.
Alice was preceded in death by her parents, brothers; Arthur Tinker, Allen Tinker, George Tinker, sisters; Mary Chambers, Martha Sheffield, and a great granddaughter Kadence Michelle Nevels.
Alice leaves to cherish her memories: a loving, long-term companion, Rosco Tubbs; seven children Gwendolyn (Timothy) Hockley, Atlanta, Georgia; Willie Green Jr. Greensboro, Alabama; Marilyn Green, Greensboro, Alabama; Jasper (Amy) Green, Tuscaloosa, Alabama; Ryan (Sharon) Green, Greensboro, Alabama; Anthony Green, Greensboro, Alabama; Felicia Dunn, Tuscaloosa, Alabama; nineteen (19) grandchildren, Taylor Hockley, Kentra Byrd, Jarvis Green, Damion Green, Santeni Green, Justice Green, Jahaziah Green, Jordyn Green, Kiona Crawford, Chasity Watkins, Quansaya Body, Shacondra Green, Quindarrius Hood, Eric Smith, Christopher McGuffie, Antaviah Green, Kailyn Dunn, Collin Dunn; nineteen (19) great grandchildren; fiver brothers, Abraham Tinker, Clarence Tinker, Isreal Clinton, Willie James Clinton, Jimmy Clinton, six sisters, Minnie (Will) Goodman, Rosie McDaniel, Dorothy Simmons, Dinah Holley, Mary (John) Ferguson, Rosie (John) Thornton, and a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.
