Allen Mosley, Jr., a beacon of strength and kindness, passed away peacefully on December 14, 2023, at his home at 402 Lafayette St., Marion, Alabama. Born on April 10, 1949, in Lowndes County, Alabama, Allen's warmth and generosity touched the lives of all who knew him throughout his 74 years.
Allen grew up under the loving guidance of his parents, the late Mary and Allen Mosley, Sr. who preceded him in death along with his sisters, Rosie Mae Cole, and Christine Jones. He was cherished by his devoted brothers, Stewart Mosley of Chicago, IL, and Jesse Mosley of Marion, AL, and a host of nieces, nephew’s other relatives and friends who will forever cherish the memories and the enduring bond they shared.
He attended Lincoln High School, He carried the lessons learned and friendships made at Lincoln throughout his entire life. From an early age, Allen joined the Mt. Olive Baptist Church at age.
Allen's life was marked by his sincere desire to uplift others. His smile was infectious, and his laughter filled rooms, bringing joy to even the most mundane moments.
While Allen's passing leaves a void in the hearts of those who knew him, his spirit will live on through the countless lives he touched. As we bid farewell to Allen Mosley, Jr., we reflect on a life well-lived and a man well-loved.
