Andrew Norfleet Obituary

Andrew Leon Norfleet (Bro) was born to the late Mr. & Mrs. Arthur Norfleet on February 8, 1961 in Perry County.
Andrew accepted Christ at an early age and joined Reynolds Chapel AME Church in Newbern, Alabama.
Andrew went to West Side High School. He was a class member of 1979. After High School, Andrew movedto Alexandria, Virginia and while living in Virginia he worked at a Curtain and Spread Factory. After living several years in Virginia he moved to Birmingham, Alabama working as a carpenter. After living in Birmingham for several years, Andrew decided to move back to his home town, Newbern, Alabama. After he returned back home, Andrew’s health began to fail. Andrew moved back to Birmingham with his sister’s , Mary Speigner, Ethel Smith and brother, Benny Joe (Kim) Norfleet being by his side making sure all of his needs were that they were taken care of. After living in Birmingham his sister Sarah Norfleet (Phillip) Andrews decided to come and get Andrew to live with them in Alexandria, Virginia. Sarah and her husband were his caretaker for 9 years .
On March 24, 2019, God called his child home, at his home he shared with his sister Sarah (Phillip) Andrews met his loving parents Arthur and Rosianna Norfleet and two of his beautiful sisters, Ruby Mae Harris and Georgianna Norfleet.
Andrew leaves to Cherish his memories: Eight sisters, Lucy (Willie) Billingsley of Waldorf, Maryland, Sarah (Phillip) Andrews of Alexandria, Virginia, Willie Shepard of Cleveland, Ohio, Nancy Miller, Elizabeth Crumb, Ethel Smith, Odell (Jesse) Parrish and Mary Speigner all of Birmingham, Alabama; one brother, Benny (Kim) Norfleet of Birmingham, Alabama. Two adopted brothers, Lester Norfleet of Waldorf, Maryland and Earnest Lee Norfleet of Newbern, Alabama. A host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, great great nieces, great great nephews and other relatives and friends. A special friend Virginia Nevels who he always stayed in touch with and never lost contact .
