Bernard Antonio Lee Sr. was born on July 8, 1977 to Betty Lee-Jones and Robert Lee Johnson. He departed a life full of love and laughter on May 4, 2024. He was proceeded in death by his grandparents, aunts and uncles.
At an early age, he accepted Christ in his heart and was baptized at Mt. Olive Baptist Church of Marion, Alabama by his pastor the late Rev. Walter Melton.
Bernard was a very hard worker. He dedicated many years to In Shape Fitness in Selma, Alabama. There he was loved by many and will be missed dearly. You would always see him with his work clothes on, but when he dressed up, that thing was SHARP!
He loved spending time with his family and friends. He was the highlight of the party. He very much enjoyed his hobbies farming, listening to music and dancing.
He leaves his cherished memories to his loving wife of 18 years, Theresa Blevins-Lee of Selma, Alabama; His mother Betty Lee-Jones of Marion, Alabama; His father Robert Lee Johnson of Atlanta, Georgia; five sons, Bernard Lee Jr of Tuscaloosa, Alabama, Kenardric and Dreyshawn Lee of Selma, Alabama, Edward Blevins of Selma, Alabama and Marcus Blevins of Maplesville, Alabama.; three daughters, Neondra Hicks of Las Vegas, Nevada, Jeanette, Laquiana and Katrina Blevins of Selma, Alabama; three brothers; Cokey (Lacretia) Lee of Montgomery, Alabama, Jerome ( Jeneen) Lee of Huntsville, Alabama, and bonus brother Willie Jefferson of Marion, Alabama; two sisters, Melissa Lee of Selma, Alabama and Tara “koolaid” (Anthony) Rutledge of Marion, Alabama; Godmother, Rosie Kynard; 22 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren that he loved. Heavily loved and missed by a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles cousins., and friends.
