Betty S Miree

Betty Church Miree was born May 1, 1955 to the late Frank Bates and Clara Church out of Marion, Alabama.  She confessed Christ at an early age and later joined New Fellowship Baptist Church.  Betty was called home and gained her wings January 10, 2021 at DCH   Regional Medical Center.

Betty is preceded in death by her husband Robert Miree, parents, Frank Bates and Clara Church, son Lee Curtis Belcher, grandchildren Jeromy  Church and Shamari Smith and Siblings Pearline Church, Ervin Church, Joe Ann Henderson, Bertha Billingsley, Annie Lee Evans and Mary Pearl Bates.

Betty leaves to mourn three daughters, Denna Billingsley (Larry), Patricia Church and Betty R. Miree (Lester) all of Tuscaloosa, Alabama; one son Lee Belcher (Lois) of Greensboro, Alabama; 27 Grandchildren, 13 Great Grand Children, 13 Siblings, Sarah Jones (Neville) of  Pennsylvania, Janie Gordon (Ernest), Nettie Church, Gregory Evans, Johnny Church, Willie Church, all of Selma,  Alabama, Roy Church (Gwendolyn) of Gadsden, Alabama, Willie Eubanks, Barbara Wright (Drake), Sheryl Bates, Carrie Bell (Lee) all of Marion, Alabama, Donna Bates, Northport, Alabama, Frank Bates (Sharon) of Brent, Alabama; one special brother-in-law David Henderson; one special sister-in-law Betty Jean Payne, a host of   nieces, nephews, cousins and two dear friends Annie Pearl Russell and Jessie Ruth Foster and many, many friends.
