Brenda Elaine Davis was born to the late Johnnie “Snoop” Williams and Evelyn Harrison (Charles W. Harrison) on October 18, 1951 in Marion Jct, AL. She departed this life on September 4, 2022 at Jackson Hospital in Montgomery, AL.   She led her  life serving Our Lord Jesus Christ daily and touched the lives and hearts of many.

As the years progressed on, at an early age; she was graced with the opportunity to be apart of the Civil Rights Movement. In Selma AL, she was able to march with the late Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and received the blessing of being apart of history and seeing “change”  happen right before her eyes.

She attended what is now known as R.B Hudson Middle School she graduated from R.B Hudson High. Once she completed her studies Brenda became a helpful citizen for her community.  She was married to Charles E. Davis.

Evangelist Brenda Davis was a faithful member of Beloved Apostolic Church of God under the leadership of Dr. Johnny F. Cunningham and later joined Gospel Tabernacle Church of God and Christ under the leadership of Pastor John E. Grayson, where she served faithfully as one of the Mothers of the church, and was a true Mother to so many more.

Evangelist Brenda served the community day in and day out with no complaints.  Whether it was late night prayer calls, or opening her own home to help others. She led the life of a true Woman of God and her spirit was and will always be infectious to others.

Her hobbies included: jewelry-creation, sketching, singing, praying and reading. Anyone that truly knew Evangelist, knew how much of a passion she had for every one of these hobbies.
