Candace C Carmichael

Candace Camille Carmichael was born on July 28, 1989 in Selma, Alabama to Obie Sr. and  Alberta Carmichael.  Candace passed away on June 10, 2022 in Selma, Alabama at Vaughn Regional Medical Center Hospital.  She was preceded in death by her loving and devoted father Obie, Sr. and mother Alberta Carmichael, paternal grandparents, Charlie (Paralee) Carmichael; maternal  grandparents, Walter Hudson, Sr. and Alberta Hudson Smith; uncles, Ezekiel Carmichael and aunts, Josephine Hopkins, Flora Love and Lizzie Blevins.

She was well known for her sense of humor always smiling and  a loving and a devoted mother to her daughter Carmen. She gave love to her sisters and brothers that will always be forever in their hearts.

Candace graduated from Selma High School in 2003 and she was a telemarketer.

Candace will be remembered by her loving and devoted daughter, Carmen Jamille Givan of Selma, Alabama; siblings,  Jennifer Bean , Obie (Charunzy) Jr., Carmichael, Veronica Carmichael, Vanessa (Kendrick) McMillian of Selma, Alabama, LaKeesha (Robert) Green of Madison, Wisconsin, Stanley Carmichael of Atlanta, Georgia and a host of  Uncles, Aunts, Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, other relatives and friends.
