Carl Lee

Carl Lee was born February 28, 1969, in Marion, Alabama to the late Eddie Huff and Georgiana Lee Huff. He entered eternal rest at DCH Hospital in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. He was preceded in death by both parents, sisters; Barbara Lee, Geraldine Lee, and Janice Huff; brothers, Albert Lee, and Richard Lee; grandmother, Emma Lee. To know him was to love him. He had a big voice but was a gentle person. He worked at the Perry County Nursing Home for 25 years and retired when his health started to fail. He was baptized at the Mt. Olive Missionary Church many years ago. He attended Francis Marion High School. Memories of Carl will be cherished by his wife Christine Bates Lee; his children, Crystal Bates Williams and Eric Bates; grandchildren, Antonio, Aaliyah, Eric, La’Derrick, Erianna, and Kingsley; devoted sisters, Betty L. Jones, Shirley (Rickey) Martin, Jeanette Huff and Addey Chandler; brother, Daniel Harris; Uncle and Aunt David Lee and Hattie Williams; brother-in-law, Percy Bates; Sister-in-law, Tracy Bates; special niece, Tara L. Rutledge; special nephew, Jamel Huff; Special friends, Frank, Bennie Hinton and Floyd Kenny and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
