On Monday, September 21, 2020, Cedric L. Cotton peace fully answered when God whispered and called him home.
Cedric was born in Chicago, Illinois to Walter F. Cotton, Sr. and Betty Jackson Cotton on March 19, 1962. His mother preceded him in death.
Cedric confessed Christ at an early age and joined Hopeful Missionary Baptist Church on Michigan Avenue in Chicago, Illinois.
Cedric graduated from Washburn High School in Chicago, Illinois. After graduating high school he attended Kennedy King College where he studied Auto Mechanics for two years.
In 1998 he along with his father Walter moved to Marion, Alabama, where he joined Friendship Missionary Baptist Church.
Cedric would spend most of his spare time drawing, solving puzzles,collecting and watching movies.
Cedric leaves to cherish his loving memories: A beloved father, Walter F. Cotton, Sr. of Marion, Alabama; one brother, Walter “Freddie” Cotton, Jr. (Pamela) of Chicago, Illinois; on sister, Pamela Cotton-Roberts of Rancho Cucamonga, California; three nieces, Raviance and Rasheda Cotton of Chicago, Illinois, Tiffanee McCain (Terence) of Rancho Cucamonga, California; two nephews, Derek and Samuel Roberts of Rancho Cucamonga, California , one great nephew Bryson and one great niece Trinity McCain and a host of aunts, cousins and friends.
