Mr. Charles Collins, was born July 27, 1953 to Robert Collins, Sr. and Eva Lou Scott Collins. He confessed Christ at an early age and joined Eagle Grove Baptist Church. Charles departed this life December 1, 2021 at his home in Marion, Alabama.
He Married the love of his life Sylvia Collins whom they spent 51 years together, who he loved to that last day. Charles loved family and helping anyone whenever he could without a question. He was always there to give a helping hand.
Charles Collins was preceded in death by his father Robert Collins, Sr. and mother, Eva Lou Scott Collins, three sisters, Polly Jane Collins, Annie Louise Collins and Katherine Collins; two brothers, Robert Collins, Jr. John C. Collins; one son in law, James Avery, Jr. and two sister- in-laws.
He leaves to cherish his memories: his loving and dedicated wife of 51 years Sylvia Collins of Marion, Alabama, one daughter, Tametria Avery of Newbern, Alabama; four sons, Darron (Denise) McGlothin of Portland,Orgeon, Stevie (Keshia) Thomas of Mobile, Alabama, Terrance (LaTasha) Collins of Montgomery, Alabama, Antoine (Shunda) Collins of Marion,Alabama; 11 grandchildren; two brother -in-laws; three sister-in-laws; one special dedicated nephew, Jessie Hinkle of Marion, Alabama; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
