Cleophus "Cle" Moore

Obituary

The late Bro. Cleophus Moore  was born on April 17, 1928 to the late Mr. Ruben and Doshie Moore. The third child of the four children.

He confessed Christ at an early age and joined the Provewell Baptist Church of Sprott, Alabama.

Bro. Cleophus Moore later served in the Armed Forces after returning home he later met  his fiancé Nellie Moore.

Bro. Moore hobbies were Dominoes playing with all of his friends and would always win, he loved to meet and talk to people.  He was a kind-hearted   person, he would give you his last.  He retired from Birmingham, Ornamental Iron Works in 1965.  He also drove a log truck during his younger years.

Bro. Moore were preceded in death by his sister, Mrs. Ruby M. Oaks and two brothers,  Mr.  Nathaniel Moore and Mr. Willie Moore.  Three loving nieces Mrs. Willie M. Tucker, Mrs. Beatrice Talley and  Mrs. Yvonne Mills and one nephew, Mr. Andre B. McGowan.

Bro. Moore leaves to cherish three nieces,; a special devoted niece Mrs. Hattie O. (Chester) Benson of Marion, Alabama, Mrs. Ella (Harvey) Stiles of   Marion, Alabama and Dalene McGowan of Jackson, Mississippi; three special friends, Mrs. Helen Kynard, Mr. Bennie Rutledge and Mr. Timothy Collins and a host of great nieces, great nephews other  relatives and friends.

Bro. Cleophus Moore loved the Lord ,his family and his Pastor Jerome Kirk.
