Eunice Hewitt was born in Marion, Alabama on March 8, 1928, to Clifton and Clara Osburn, who preceded her in death along with four siblings.
Eunice dedicated her life to her family and her community. Her greatest passion was quilting.
Eunice accepted Christ at an early age while at Mt. Nebo AME Zion Church, where she attended the public school system in Marion, Alabama. She traveled to Chicago, Illinois. While in Chicago she worked as a seamstress and retired after 25 years.
Preceded her in death was her parents Clifton and Clara Osburn, four siblings, and one grandchild.
Eunice leaves to cherish her loving memories, one daughter, Dorothy Colburn-Riley, and two grands. Two great granddaughters and six great-great-grandchildren, a special granddaughter Ira Fairley, and a host of nieces and nephews, family, and friends.
