Fannie C. Ford was born March 20, 1929 to the late Mr. Oscar and Mrs. Clara Ford of Sprotts, Alabama.
Fannie confessed Christ at an early age and joined the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. Later in life, she joined the Berean Baptist Church where she served until her health would not permit her to. Fannie was well known in her community for her volunteer work. She worked at MMI for many years and she was also a successful seamstress.
Fannie went on to marry the late Mr. Clarence Ford and to this Union, five kids were born. Two of them preceded her in death, Kelvin and Otha Ford; Seven Siblings preceded her in death, five brothers, Willie Author, Henry, Otha, William, Edward Ford, three sisters, Bettsie Mae Ford, Sadie Ann Ford and Shirley Faye Robinson; one son-in-law, Ceasar Jackson; and one brother-in-law Luther Wallace.
Fannie leaves to cherish her memories, one son Rev. Oscar (Kate) Ford of Marion, Alabama; two daughters Dorothy (John) Thomas of Toledo, Ohio, Katherine Jackson of Marion, Alabama; one daughter-in-law, Tonya Ford of Marion, Alabama; one sister, Geraldine Wallace of Tuscaloosa, Alabama; 19 grands, 43 great grands, 5 great-great grands; two loving nephews, Ronald (Kimberly) Wallace of Tuscaloosa, Alabama and Boyce Holt of New York and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
