Obituary

Gregory Lynn Stewart “Lightning” was born     November 24, 1966 to Gloria Brown Stewart and the late Howard Stewart.

Gregory confessed Christ at an  early age and  joined Providence Missionary Baptist Church.  He served our Country in the United States Army for 12 years and the Reserves for 3 years.

Gregory was preceded in death by his father, Howard Stewart; his brothers,  James (Mane) Stewart and Stanley Stewart.

Gregory was devoted to his family, especially to his daughter, Kayla and granddaughter Ava: nieces Lashaunda Shauntel, Jazmyne, Jacquarah and Jonnisea; nephews, Tony, Marvin, James, Lorenzo and Jacaro.

Gregory memories will be cherished by his mother and step father, Gloria English and J.C. English; one beloved sister, Clara Hall (Ronnie Sheara); one aunt, Shirley “Yanna” Brown; three uncles, Huddie Brown, Leon Brown and Lawrence Brown;  two very special cousins, Amora Allen and Merlinda Stevenson, and a host of other relatives and friends.
