Henry Lee Coleman, Sr. was born March 28, 1955 in Gastonburg, Alabama to Leona Coleman. He graduated from Keith High School in 1975. After graduation he moved to California to work for a few years, before returning to Beloit, Alabama where he lived until he became ill.
In 1990 he got married , and from that union, one child was born. Henry was bless with a loving and kind heart. He was very well known within his community and always willing to lend a helping hand to his neighbors, friends and family. Henry was a strong man, who truly valued his independence even through his illness, he insisted that he was capable of taking care of himself, if he could just go back to his home. God called him home from this life, to a new life.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Leona Hardy; grandmother, Mamie Coleman; grandfather, Henry Coleman; brothers, Edward Coleman, Frank Hardy, and Christopher Hardy.
Henry leaves to cherish his memory: one son, Henry Coleman, Jr.; three sisters, Jerry Dean Coleman of Valley Grand, Alabama, Girlean Coleman of Birmingham, Alabama, and Sharrie (James) Venable of Lawrenceville, Georgia; one brother, Neal Hardy of Selma, Alabama and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
