Jeffery A. Heard was born to Alberta Heard and Robert Cherry, Jr. On March 4, 1961 in Marion, Alabama. On Sunday March 8, 2020 he departed this life at the Perry Ridge Apartments
Jeffery confessed his life to Christ at an early age and was baptized at the Friendship Baptist Church. He was raised by the late Mary Jane Heard.
Buck was a jack of all trades; mechanic, carpentry , plumber, and truck driver. After leaving home Buck moved to Chicago where he worked for 21 years as a City Employee before retiring.
He leaves to cherish his mother Alberta Young; sister, Vanessa Heard; brother George Young, Jr.; three nieces, Tiffany Booker, Ebony Young, Zy’Kearia Turner; three nephews, Justin Booker, Evan Moore and Jaxon Scaife; loving and devoted cousins (niece) Tawana Heard , Alecia Heard and Kenny Heard; best friends, Alfred Heard, Timothy Lee, and Frank Williams; a special friend, Trina Smith and a host of other relatives and friends.
