Jerry Billingsley was born on January 3, 1965 in Perry County to the late James and Leah Bell Wright Billingsley.  He was the eighth of eleven children.  He confessed his life to Christ at an early age and joined New Fellowship Baptist Church.

Preceding his death was his parents James and Leah Bell Wright Billingsley; brother, Arthur Lee Billingsley, Sr.; nephew, Arthur Lee Billingsley, Jr..

Gone To Soon:  Tears are God’s gift to us, our holy water.  They heal us as they flow.  The feeling when you left us no one will ever know.  Jerry departed his earthly journey on September 29, 2017 at Hospice of West Alabama in Tuscaloosa, Alabama..

Among those surviving to cherish his memory and  his passing are his loving five sisters, Rose (Rayfield) King , Julia Jones, Annie (Michael) Russell all of Marion, Alabama, Mary Ann (S.M) Hollis, Jr. of Newbern, Alabama, Carolyn (Bruce) Young of Atlanta, Georgia; Five brothers,  J.C. (Ruth) Jones, Frank James Billingsley, David Billingsley all of   Marion, Alabama, Jessie James Billingsley of Talladega, Alabama, Larry (Denna) Billingsley, Tuscaloosa,  Alabama ; one sister in law, Leola Billingsley; a special friend   Sharon Moore, Ft. Wayne, Indiana; three special friends, Chester Mims, Louis Essex (known as Scooter), James Lewis  a host of aunts, uncles, nieces , nephews other relatives and friends.
