Jessie B. Hinkle was born to the late Isaiah and Selma Hinkle on February 11, 1948. Jessie is the 5th child of 10 children. Jessie confessed Christ at an early age and joined the Morning Star Baptist Church where she served faithfully until her death. Jessie departed this life on Tuesday, July 5, 2016 at the Perry County Nursing Home. Jessie is known throughout the community for her down home southern cooking. She became a self-taught beautician. Jessie love to sing.
Jessie was preceded in death by her parents Isaiah and Selma Hinkle;1 daughter Sharon Hinkle; 2 sisters, Mary E. Mims and Nellie Hinkle; 2 brothers, Isaiah Hinkle, Jr. and Louis Hinkle; 3 brother-in-laws, Walter Curry, Sr., Norma Hatch, Sr. and John Lee; 1 niece, Stacy Hatch;1 nephew Tommy Hinkle, Jr. and one great niece Alana Goodson.
Jessie leaves to cherish in her memory 5 children: 3 daughters, Cynthia Hinkle, of Fort Wayne, IN; Connie (Howard) Bennett and Paula Hinkle all of Marion, Alabama: 2 sons, Ronnie (Betty) Hinkle of Atlanta, Georgia; Caribe Hinkle of Marion, Alabama; 11 grandchildren; 5 granddaughters, Canesha Bennett, Jessica Hinkle, Gabrielle Barron, Cristal Hinkle and Carriea Steadman; 6 grandsons, Marquis Hinkle, Michael (Taneisha) Steadman, Jr. Rodriquez Perdue, Ronnie Perdue, Edward Hinkle and Lionel Hinkle; 13 great grandchildren; 2 sisters, Lizzie (Walter) Curry of Marion, Alabama and Rosa (John) Lee of Chicago, Illinois; 3 brothers, Tommy (Estella) Hinkle, Charles Hinkle and Jesse G. (Maggie) Hinkle all of Marion, Alabama; 1 sister-in-law Viola Hinkle of Marion, Alabama and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
