John W. Goree

John Goree was born in Marion, Alabama to the late Robert and Jennie Goree on October 11, 1959.  He departed his life Saturday, June 6, 2020 at Casa Mora  Rehabilitation and Extended Care in Bradenton,  Florida.

He accepted Christ at an early age and joined Providence Baptist Church in Marion, Alabama, where he served faithfully until his sudden illness and untimely death.  He attended Cahaba Center for  Mental Health in Marion, Alabama until he was no longer able to .

He leaves to cherish his memory: five sisters, Kristine King of Marion, Alabama, Angela Minor, Jacqueline Robinson (Joseph), Shawana Jackson ( Dwight) of Bradenton, Florida,  Annie Goree of Detroit,Michigan; six brothers,  Robert Goree III of Detroit, Michigan, David Goree (Charmaine) of Lynnwood, Washington, Charles Goree and Timothy Goree of Marion, Alabama, Ronald Goree of Atmore, Alabama and Latonio Goree (Takesha) of Parrish, Florida, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends.
