Lue David Russell was born on August 14, 1957 in Perry County,  Alabama to the late Lue Ellen and Ruby Stewart Russell. The second oldest of eight       children.  He confessed Christ at an early age and joined the Lilly Grove     Baptist Church where he remained faithful until he moved to Cleveland, Ohio in 1974.  He later joined the Imani Temple ministries and served as a lead   Usher. He was  loving and devoted to his church family.  And they have truly shown their love for him.

Lue David was employed with the Marion Fish Hatchery.  Once in Ohio, he    became employed at US  Steel Mill 19  Years, and was presently working for UPS and Manager of Wiregrass Environment Warehouse.  He was a devoted husband to his wife Elsa of 1 year.  He set the standard for father-hood by      devoting his life to his children.

His loving memories will be cherished by his wife Elsa Russell, (Wickliffe, OH); 3 sons, Cedric Crews (Chicago, IL) , Allen Russell and Matthew Russell (Wickliffe, OH),  2 daughters,  Detosha Billingsley (Chicago, IL) Jessica  Pohle  ( OH); 3 brothers, Lee Russell (Marion, AL), Earl (Rhonda) Russell (McDonough, GA), Henry (Johnnie Mae) Russell (Marion, AL); 5 sisters,    Gloria (Karl) Morrisette (Cleveland, OH), Ruby (Kenneth) Smith (Marion, AL), Mary Ann (Willie) Bennett (Marion, AL) Shenita (Carl) Russell (Demopolis, AL), Mary Williams ( Marion, AL);  16 grandchildren, 1 great-grand child and a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews , cousins and other relatives , loved ones and special friends.
