Maggie Benjamin Hinkle was born May 26, 1958 in Marion, Alabama to the late James and Johnnie McGothin Benjamin. She went to live with her eternal father on March 28, 2023 at Hale County Hospital. Maggie attended and graduated from Francis Marion High School in 1976. She received Christ at an early age and jointed the Providence Baptist Church, later joining the Morning Star Baptist Church. Maggie married the love of her life Jessie G. Hinkle in September 22, 1979, to this union two sons were born. She traveled frequently with her husband while he served in the military. Maggie worked at the Army Air Force Exchange Service in Europe, Home Health, and Perry County Jail where she retired after working for 15 years. Maggie had a heart of gold and often put others before herself .Her number one hobby was cooking, spending time with and supporting her grandkids, crafting, sewing, gardening, working in church as an usher, traveling to Mobile to visit family, and watching western movies. She was preceded in death by her parents, Benjamin and Johnnie McGlothin Benjamin. She leaves to cherish her memories her loving devoted husband, Jessie G. Hinkle; two sons, Jerodney (Kimberly) Hinkle of Montgomery, Alabama and Javien (Shanavia) Hinkle of Dallas, Georgia; grandchildren, Jerodnay Hinkle, Jr., Jacob Hinkle, Kaylee Hinkle, Grace Hinkle, twins on the way; sisters, Sandra (Corry) Brown of Northport, Alabama, Gimmie Tubbs of Fort Wayne, Indiana; Bothers, Anthony (Kia) Benjamin of Fayetteville, Georgia and Michael (Lawanna) Benjamin of Douglas, Georgia and Benjamin (Rochelle) Smith of Selma, Alabama; best friends, Louis Rawls, Anthony Bennett and Jackie Tubbs (preceded her in death ); favorite cousin, Lucretia Gray and a host of nieces, nephews, aunties, uncles, cousins other relatives and friends..
