Marquell "Pooh" Underwood

Marquell Jamon Underwood “Pooh” was born on November 10, 1997 at Vaughn Regional Hospital in Selma,  AL. When he was younger, he attended Freewill Baptist Church. Marquell was called home on February 23, 2020. One of the most important things to him was the love for his family. He loved hanging out with his big cousins and making music with his brother.

Marquell is preceded in death by his father, Michael Smith; grandparents, Josie Underwood , Johnny (Ada) Underwood, Richard  Sr. and Hattie Smith

Marquell leaves to cherish a loving mother- Carla Underwood Lewis (Willie) of Tuscaloosa, AL; sisters- Crystal (Derrick) Green of Tuscaloosa, AL, Telesa Edwards, and  Jelesa Edwards of Greensboro, AL; brothers- Eric Underwood, LaDarius Smith of Tuscaloosa, AL, Michael Johnson, and  Quintin Edwards of Greensboro, AL.; one step brother-Willie Deshawn Lewis -Aunts, Barbara(Ernest) White, Gloria Sutton, Janice Manuel, Monica Underwood, and Beverly Smith; uncles- Johnny(Tanya) Underwood, Robert(Carla) Underwood, Richard Underwood, and Richard Smith Jr. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and special friends who will miss him dearly.
