Mary E Thomas

Mary Elizabeth Thomas was born May 18, 1940 to the late Mr. Robert R. Lee and the late Mrs. Ludie Mae Lee.  She entered eternal rest on  October 28, 2020 at the Hospice of West Alabama.

Mary was a gospel singer for many years traveling to cities and also on Television singing praises to God.  She  worked as a  waitress and a cook at  Maybell Webb’s restaurant .

Mary was preceded in death by her two brothers, Herman Lee and Willie James Lee; one sister, Chinester Jackson; one son, Eddie Ray Carlisle and one grandson, Tyrone Green.

Mary leaves to cherish with loving memories: two sons, Isaac Thomas, Jr of Tuscaloosa, Alabama and Larry Thomas of Northport, Alabama; four daughters, Janice Thomas and Betty Mack of Tuscaloosa, Alabama, Barbara Croxton (Jessie) of Northport, Alabama, Sharon Leonard of Columbus, Georgia; one sister, Diane Green of Marion, Alabama; 16 grandchildren and a host of great-grands, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
