Whatever you do, you must do it with your heart as working for the Lord not for human masters (Colossians 3:23)”
On February 3, 1946, God blessed the late Fred Sullivan and Vera M. Tubbs with a precious gift, Ola Mae Tubbs in Marion, Alabama. Ola Mae loved others as God loved her and she showed her love unselfishly. She departed this life on February 27, 2020 at home surrounded by her family.
She confessed Christ at an early age, and joined Union Baptist Church in North Perry, Alabama.
Ola Mae is preceded in death by her parents Fred Sullivan and Vera M. Tubbs ; one son, Robert Tubbs; two grandsons, Nicholas and Datreal Tubbs; two sisters, Ovetta White and Dorothy Tubbs; four brothers, James Cleveland and Freddie Tubbs; three brother-in-laws, Herbert White , William Evans and John Caldwell; one sister –in-laws, Ann Tubbs.
Ola Mae will be missed by many. She was especially fond of the time she spent with her Great-Grandchildren. Ola was deeply loved by all who knew her and those she came in contact with. During her lifetime she held many jobs from a cook and being a housesitter. Ola Mae was a great cook, and she enjoyed cooking for anyone, there was love in every meal.
“For I am now ready to be offed and the time of my departure is at hand. I have fought a good fight, I have finished by course. I have kept the faith” (2 Timothy 4:6-7)
