Obituary

Robert D. Sewell  was born March 2,1955 to the late Elias Green and Etta Mae Sewell in Marion, Alabama. He departed his life on April 30, 2023 in Ft. Wayne, Indiana.

Robert confessed Christ at an early age and joined the  Morning Star Baptist Church.

He moved to Ft. Wayne, IN in 1979 and later joined the King’s Chapel  Assembly where he served faithfully until his death.  Robert had a strong faith and belief in God and because of that faith, he knew that no mater what happened in his life (good or bad), God would take care of him.

Robert was preceded in death by  his father, Elias Green; Brothers, Tom Arthur Sewell, Willie Gene Sewell, Eddie Fred Sewell, and William Henry Sewell.

Robert leaves to cherish his loving memory: his mother, Etta Mae Sewell; three sisters, Pearl Turner (Nathan), Doris C. Sewell, Lydia M. Sewell;  two brothers, Walter Lee Sewell, and Jesse Irvin Sewell (Rachel); a  special friend and caretaker, Ruby Dallas, and a host of nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
