Roderick Lynier Evans was born August 16, 1985 at Druid City Hospital, Tuscaloosa, Alabama to Lenora Gooden Evans and late Carl F. Evans. He departed this life Sunday, April 23, 2023 at Northport Medical Center.
Rod accepted Christ at an early age and joined the Morning Star Baptist Church. He was a graduate of Francis Marion high School Class of 2003. He was also a 2005 graduate of Wallace Community College Selma majoring in Electrical Engineering. In 2019 Rod became an entrepreneur, he and his siblings started Evans Brothers Transportation, LLC. His hobbies were sports and racing. Showstopper Racing was the highlight of his day.
Rod was preceded in death by his father, Carl Evans; brother Ryan Evans; God brother Jonathan England, both maternal and paternal grandparents, three uncles and one aunt.
Rod leaves to celebrate his life and cherish his memories his wife Killiley Bruno Evans, with this union he gained three bonus children; Teriyana Bruno, Trashaad Thomas, and Travis Thomas, Jr.; a devoted and loving mother Lenora Gooden Evans; two sisters, Tashara Evans and Ke’Nhiya Wright; two brothers, Carlo Evans and Decorin (Ashley) Evans, extended sisters and brothers, LaChica England (Robert) Taylor, Major England III (Shaconda), Rahsard (Kenyatta) Scott, LaNitra (Ramone) Scott Cotton, Rev. Calvin Hunter, Sr. Special Niece and nephew Aubree Nicole Evans and Darryl Campbell, III; God mothers, Lavern “Gwin” England and Norma Jean Hogue; two special God sons,, Jamarquis Tabb, Jr. And Calvin “DaDriver” Hunter, Jr.; six sister-inlaws,; one brother -in-law; eight aunts, eight uncles; a special cousin Adrain Rollins and Aldin Essex, Sr.; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends
