Ronnie Clay Roberson was born on December 12, 1951, in Marion, Alabama to the late Roosevelt Roberson and the late Alice Roberson. Ronnie peacefully transition to his heavenly home on March 1, 2024.
Ronnie attended Westside High School in Marion, Alabama. At an early age he accepted Christ as his Savior at Mt. Tabor AME Zion Church. He was a faithful member and served as the chairman of the Trustee Board and a lead singer in the choir.
Ronnie was a hard worker, who was dedicated to any job he was tasked with. Ronnie loved painting, doing carpentry work, and spending time with his family. He touched the lives of many, and he will be missed dearly.
Ronnie leaves to cherish his memories a loving and devoted wife Willietta Roberson of Marion, Alabama; one son, Bryant (Cynthia) Roberson of Valley Grande, Alabama; one daughter, LaToya (Tavares) Childs of Wetumpka, Alabama; five grandchildren, Brytavian Roberson, Layla Childs, Braylan Roberson, Caelynn Roberson, and Tavares Childs, Jr.; one brother, James Roberson of Marion, Alabama; two sisters, Daisy (Marcellar) Brown and Deborah Roberson (Reuben) both of Cleveland, Ohio and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends that loved him dearly.
