Ronnie’s Life Story
On November 15, 1980, Ronnie was the second son born to Alex and Mary Ann Bell-King .Ronnie confessed Christ at an early age and was baptized at John The Baptist Church Orrville, Alabama by Rev. Curtis Williams, Sr. and he later joined Gospel Tabernacle Church of God In Christ under the leadership of Pastor John E. Grayson.
Ronnie was educated in the Selma Public School System and was a graduate of Selma High School class of 1999. He was employed with Bibb County Correctional Facility for a number of years and later Mercedes Benz US International, Vance, Alabama until his health failed.
Ronnie was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Mrs. Solonia Lee Bell, his paternal great-grandmother, Mrs. Elvira Mollette, paternal grandfather, Alex King, Sr.
Ronnie’s love for his son, parents and brother was unmeasureable. He would often times fall prey to his older brothers pranks and brotherly jokes.
Memories of Ronnie life will be shared by his son, Ronnie De’Mont King, Jr., Selma, Alabama; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Alex and Mary Ann King, Selma, Alabama; one brother, Mr. Alex Bernard Bell , Sr.,Selma, Alabama; one nephew, Alex Bernard Bell, Jr.,; two nieces, Genesis Alexis Bell and Alexiyen Bell all of Selma, Alabama; seven God-siblings, Rydarius Watts, Ashley Fowlkes and Leviticus Soles, Jacoyle and Michael Davison, Tamara Stewart and Courtney Joyner all of Selma, Alabama; grandmother, Mrs. Vinnie King, Selma, Alabama; eight aunts, Mrs. Stella Morrow, Mrs. Juanita (Julius) Gibson and Ms. Ceola Mack, Orrville, Alabama, Mrs. Susie (Clyde) Reed, Colorado Springs, Colorado, Mrs. Annie Waller and Mrs. Eula Young, Detroit, MI and Mrs. Pinkie ( John) Walker, Selma, Alabama; two great aunts, Mrs. Ida Hollingsworth, Freeport, New York and Mrs. Eliza Houston, Birmingham, Alabama; nine uncles, Mr. Henry (Katie) Bell, Mr. Leon (Bernice) Bell, Sr., Mr. Joseph Bell, Mobile, Alabama, Mr. Roger (Joyce) King, Mr. Johnny (Mattie) King, Mr. William King all of Selma, Alabama, Mr. Theodore (Catherine) Mack, Mt. Clements, MI and Mr. Arthur Mack and Lee Allen Johnson of Orrville, Alabama; five first cousins that he respected as aunts/uncles, Mrs. Diane (Tytus) Williams, Mobile, Alabama, Ms. Lee Johnson and Mrs. Christine (Jordan) Cole, Selma, Alabama, Ms. Cassandra L.
