Rosie Harville Obituary

Rosie Jane Ward Harville was born February 9, 1936 to Burnice and Marzie Ward.

She came to know the Lord at early age and joined the Unionship Baptist Church where she served until her health failed as Superintendent of Sunday School and Sunday School Teacher.

Rosie united in Holy Matrimony to Lester Harville, Jr. to whom God blessed them with two children, Randall and Vivian.

She  attended Bibb County Training School.  She was employed for  seventeen years  as a industrial Employee in Modesta,  California and she worked as a Techer’s Assistant at Randolph Elementary until retirement.

After retirement she attended Maplesville Senior Citizen Center, Foster mother for  27 Foster Children, Cooking, Gardening,   Domestic Work and enjoying her family.

Rosie was preceded in death by her parents, Burnice and Mazie Ward; three brothers, Burnice Ward, Jr. Horace Ward and   Willie James Ward.

He leaves to cherish her memories: son, Randall Harville,  Lawley, Alabama; daughter, Vivian (Anthony) Harville Howard;  2 grandchildren, Preston Conner and Jovon  Harville both of Selma, Alabama; 8 sisters, Lessie Bonner, Addie Ward,  Birmingham, Alabama, Bessie Farrington, Montevallo, Alabama, Alice Frazier and Lenora McMillian of Riverouge, Michigan, Mildred Pierce, Beurlingeton, North Carolina and Carolyn Melton, Lawley, Alabama; 1 brother, Benjamin Ward of  Birmingham, Alabama; special friend, Cleo Allen of   Modesta, California and a host of  nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
