Sara A. Mims-Brown

Sara A. Mims - Brown born in Perry County - Marion, Alabama, to the late  Eddie Mims, Sr. and Mary F. Moore –Mims.  She confessed hope in Christ Early in Life and joined Oak Grove Baptist Church and later joined Providence Baptist Church.

Sara was preceded in death by her parents; Eddie, Sr. and Mary Mims; one brother, Freemen L. Mims.

She departed this life on Thursday, June 6, 2019 at Perry County Nursing Home in Marion, Alabama.

She leaves to cherish three sons; Robert (Wendell) Turner of Birmingham, Alabama, Kendrick (Evette) Sprott of Marion, Alabama, and Richard (Autum) Mims of Fort Wayne, Indiana; two daughters, Shanell D. Mims of Fort Wayne, Indiana,   Lashunda Johnson(cousin/daughter) of Marion, Alabama; two sisters, Shirley (Gregory)Campbell, and Johnnie Mae (Henry) Russell both of  Marion, Alabama; five brothers, Eddie, Jr. (Patricia) Mims, Edward Mims, Alexander (Tammie) Mims, Lee Andrew (Jacqueline) Mims, Chester (Samantha) Mims all of Marion, Alabama; eleven grandchildren; special aunt/sister, Clara Brooks, Fort Wayne, Indiana; aunts, Mary N. Moore-Lewis,   Gloria (Jacob) Perkins, Ruby Moore all of Marion, Alabama; one special uncle/brother, Willie J. Mims of Fort Wayne, Indiana and a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends who loves her dearly.
