Sheryl D Bates

Sheryl D. Bates transition to her heavenly home November 11, 2021 , 6:45 am at DCH Hospital in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Sheryl was  born March 19, 1962 in Marion, Alabama to the late Frank Bates, Sr. and Carrie Roper Bates.

Sheryl confessed Christ at an early age  and later joined Berean Baptist Church where she was baptized and  attended until  her death.

Sheryl was preceded  in death by her parents, Frank Bates, Sr. and Carrie Roper Bates; five sisters,  Mary P. Billingsley, Betty Miree, Sarah Porter, Bertha Billingsley, and Barbara Wright.

Sheryl leaves to cherish her four children, Nakeya Bates, Marion, Alabama, Lacrecia (Jeremy) Wright, McCalla, Alabama, Cedric Bates, Marion, Alabama, Kedrick Bates, Los Angeles, California; 12 grandchildren, Chedrick, Tavondria, Nakedra, Azayla, Rozell III, Tyreke, Carson, Trevon, Jamarius, Amaya, Kedrick, Jr. and Rhe’Mi ; three sisters, Willie Mae  Eubanks, Carrie (Lee) Bell all of Marion, Alabama, and Donna Bates, Tuscaloosa, Alabama; one brother , Frank (Sharon) Bates of  Bibb County, Alabama, and a host of nieces nephews other relatives and friends
