Ms. Shirley Ann Holifield was born January 2, 1957 to the late Mr. Brooke and Earline Holifield. Shirley was a devoted servant and faithful member of the New Fellowship Baptist Church. Shirley gained her wings and rested on October 11, 2021.
Shirley attended Morning Star School in Marion, Alabama. Shirley was employed at Marion Manufacturing and Health Tech before retiring from Plantation Patterns in 2010. In her spare time Shirley utilized her skills making dresses and other clothing. Prior to her peaceful transition into rest Shirley spent countless hours caring for and loving her dear uncle Stanley as his primary caretaker.
Shirley was preceded in death by her father, Brooke Holifield, mother, Earline Holifield; sisters Deloris Thornton; Mary Dean Holifield; brothers, Willie Earl Holifield and Charlie Holifield.
Shirley leaves to cherish her memories Rev. Curtis Thompson; three sons, SGT(R) Clarence (Anna) Holifield, MAJ(R) Kevin (Felecia) Holifield, Huntsville, AL and Curtis (Krystal) Holifield, Alabaster, AL. four grandchildren, Knmarius Holifield, Kyle Pipes, Kennedi Holifield and Jayden McBride; three sisters Marie Dockens; Mechanicsburg, PA; Willie Mae Holifield, Harrisburg, PA. Bobbie (Louis) Coachman of Marion, AL.; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and other relatives and friends.
