The transition from earth to eternity came to Theodore Jackson on March 30, 2020. Theodore was born on May 29, 1942 to Earnest Jackson, Sr. and Ermer L. Jackson in Lamison, Alabama. He was the fifth of eighteen children born to the union.
Theodore never met a stranger. He was a faithful employer of the Griffin Wood Company where he retired. Theodore confessed Christ at an early age and joined the Mt. Ararat Baptist Church of Marion, Alabama.
He was preceded in death by his father Earnest Jackson, Sr., three brothers; Howard Jackson, Arthur Jackson and Ceasar Jackson and one sister Lillie Jackson Miree.
Theodore leaves to cherish his memory: two sons, Gary Mosley of Marion, Alabama and Bishop Rodney (Lula) Sheppard of Brent, Alabama; five sisters, Dorothy Cosby, Lucinda (A.B.) Shelton, Barbara (Tommy) Starks all of Marion, Alabama; Mary C. (AJ) Stabler of Brent, Alabama, Patricia (Irving) Turner of Jonesboro, Georgia; eight brothers, Earnest Lee (Iona) Jackson, Jr., Willie Lee (Sarah) Jackson, Sr., Albert (Mary) Jackson, James (Cathy) Jackson, Bobby Jackson all of Marion, Alabama, Sidney Jackson, Sr., Selma, Alabama, Alexander (Asetta) Jackson, Sr., J.C. (Marciel) Jackson both of Birmingham, Alabama; seven grandchildren, thirteen great grand children and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.
