Tia LaTasha Tubbs

Tia LaTasha Tubbs was born February 6, 1977 in Greensboro, Alabama, Hale County, to Curtis L.  And Doris O. Tubbs.  She confessed hope in Christ and joined Mt. Gilead Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. S. N. Norwood, until leaving to further her  career in medicine.

Tia attended the Hale County School System and graduated from Greensboro High School, East Campus.  She furthered her education in the medical field in Louisville, Kentucky.  She loved helping people during her career, as she traveled across the country doing just that, helping people.

Tia is preceded in death by her mother Doris; Grandparents; Harold and Lula M. Edwards,  Earl and Hattie Tubbs, Ossie B. and Robert Hunt, and James H. and Pearl L. Martin, two aunts Rosie M. Miles and Sharon Edwards, two uncles; R. L. Edwards and James C. Tubbs.

Tia leaves to cherish her memories; a loving son, Quamayne, Birmingham, Alabama; father, Curtis and a loving 2nd  mother, Glendora, Sprott, Alabama; one sister, Ebony Tubbs, Birmingham, Alabama; one brother, Jolando Edwards, Seymore, Indiana; four nephews, Jeter, Anthony Kadeon, Seymore, Indiana, Dorian Birmingham, Alabama; one niece, Destiny Blume, Louisville, Kentucky; nine aunts, Sandra Constance (William), Brenda Edwards, Lois Thomas (Terry), Greensboro, Alabama, Evelyn Hatch (Robert), Helen Tubbs, Marion, Alabama, Juanita Moore (Stephen), Moundville, Alabama, Linda Williams, Union City, California, Rosemary Jackson (Woodie) ,Selma, Alabama, Ann Griffin (David), Chicago, Illinois; eight uncles, Herbert Tubbs (Gwen) Tuscaloosa, Alabama, David Tubbs (Demetria), Johnny Edwards, Willie Edwards, Greensboro, Alabama, Bernest Tubbs, Marion, Alabama, Carl Martin (Mary),  Donald Martin (Annie J.), Sprott, Alabama, James A.
