Williams Jones of Sprott, Alabama transitioned from this world to be with his Heavenly Father on December 29, 2020. William, also known as “Bug”, was born on January 18, 1965 to the late Lorenzo and Ola Jones. He joined Bethany Baptist Church of Sprott, Alabama at an early age and remained a lifelong member.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lorenzo and Ola Jones; one brother, Charlie Jones; two sisters, Lorraine Baily and May Lou Jones.
He is survived by and leave to cherish his memory a loving wife of 15 years, Stacey Jones; two sons, Thurman wright and J’Quan Wright; two daughters, Tiquana (Wendell) Crews and Kim Wright; six grandchildren; three brothers, Island (Gretchen) Jones, Elgin, Illinois, Jimmy (Natalie) Jones, Joliet, Illinois, Johnny (Ann) Jones, Casa Grande, Arkansas; five sisters, Joann Deyampert, Bronx, NY, Annie Jones, Sarah (Roosevelt) Cole both of Sprott, Alabama, Dee (Daryl) Jones, Selma, Alabama, Shirley (Williams) Jones, Brent, Alabama; one brother-in-law, J.D. Bailey; one uncle, Johnny Jones, Sprott, Alabama; one aunt, Leola Brown and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
