Willie J Pryor

Willie James Pryor was born on December 16, 1948 to the union of Edward and Tina Pryor. Willie was the second of seven children born into this union. Edward, Francis Pryor (sister), Ira Pryor (brother) Kristal Pryor (niece) proceeded Willie in death.

Willie attended and graduated from the Sprott/Marion school system. Willie was a quiet spirit and meek individual, and always willing to help anyone. He never had children of his own, but he had two special nieces (LoShunda and Latoria) that he loved as his own and they would move the world for Uncle Willie.

Willie had strong faith in God. Willie loved his family, especially “Momma”. No matter what or where he was, he would make his way to see “Momma” and would always come with gifts. For the past couple of years, Willie moved back home to take care of “Momma”. He would fuss but there’s nothing he would do for her or anyone else.

On Sunday morning, October 10, 2021, after sharing breakfast with “Momma”, Toria and Shunda, God called Willie home to take his rest!

Willie leaves to cherish his memory, his loving mother, Tina Pryor, sister, Annie Huff (Chicago, IL), three brothers: Charles, Robert (Queen) & Ben (Lozella) all Sprott, AL; 16 nieces and nephews; a host of grandnieces & nephews, family, and friends.
